Colorful fish, Part II. Look closely though - does this look like an entirely colored pencil drawing? Even though I did try to play around with color blending to the MAX, I wanted something a little more exciting for the background: Drawing Ink! (Very similar to watercolor - same technique I used for the Seashells With Hibiscus drawing earlier) I blended the blue ink with water to lighten it up a bit, and then simply painted the background with a paintbrush. The beauty of this drawing ink is that it leaves streaks, giving the illustration a realistic, underwater feel.
