Seashells on Bench

This little cartoon was one of the last of the seashell series, a college drawing class assignment to chose any object and make 12 drawings of it. Desperate for just a couple more interesting twists on those boring seashells that I was so tired of drawing, I thought that personifying them would make for an interesting caricature. The scene in this drawing is open for interpretation ;O)

Seashell by the Pond

This drawing was part of the seashell series from my college drawing class assignment, where we were asked to make 12 drawings of an object of our choice. This was my first piece (ever) utilizing the charming, cartoon-like animals, with big, curious eyes.

Seashells With Hibiscus

Part of the same seashell series. This one is very unique, however, because there is no colored pencil here! (Well, maybe a few shadings here and there) The professor had us try our luck in ink drawing/etching, so I sketched out the seashells and the hibiscus in the black ink. Then I used drawing ink (similar to watercolor) to add the colors.

Seashell Still-life

This seashell still-life was drawn for an assignment for my college drawing class. I had to pick any object and make 12 different drawings of it. This one, a classic/traditional still-life, was one of the first of the series.
